Various fitness & baseline tests carried out using Cosmed Fitmate, VALD & Tanita technology by our Chartered physiotherapists & exercise physiologists.

Our team of 4 Chartered Physiotherapists work to understand the root cause of your problem. From there we build a tailored and focused treatment plan.


Exercise Physiology

The science of human performance under physical stress and the relationships between physical activity & the structure, and function of the human body.


Social Exercise

We believe social exercise is a great way to get one of your weekly exercise sessions done & in a supportive, and fun environment.

Marion graduated with a B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy from N.U.I. Galway. With a passion for travel, and to gain OT experience, Marion moved to the UK to work with the NHS in Community Rehabilitation for two years. After gaining invaluable experience in this area she moved to Australia to work in Private Rehabilitation for adults for four years.

Marion’s experience is mainly in adult rehabilitation and she is particularly passionate about working with people with varying neurological diagnoses such as Parkinson’s Disease, MS and Stroke. She also works with adults who have had falls, surgery and who have decreased mobility.

Marion has a special interest in working with people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and is certified in the ‘LSVT® BIG’ exercise programme from the US. Marion has also completed the Australian based ‘PD Warrior™’ programme which is a highly effective exercise program aimed to slow down the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. Personal Health is the first clinic in Ireland to run this programme. Marion is also a certified ‘Tai Chi for Health and Falls Prevention’ and ‘Tai Chi for Rehabilitation’ instructor. This year Marion is also completing a course in stroke rehabilitation through the ARNI Institute in the UK. She is a current member of the Association of Occupational Therapist’s Ireland (AOTI).

Originally from Wicklow, Theresa qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2013 and brings over a decade of experience to her role. She spent nearly five years working in New Zealand and Australia, where she developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain management.

After returning to Ireland, Theresa worked in private practice in Galway for five years before joining Personal Health, where she has now been a valued team member for two years. She is a certified Pilates and Yoga instructor, passionate about guiding people of all levels through movement-based rehabilitation.

Theresa believes deeply in the power of movement – not just for recovery, but as a key part of injury prevention and living well. She recently completed a Master’s in Exercise Physiology in Rehabilitation to further support her clients’ journeys back to doing what they love.

Back on the east coast, Theresa enjoys spending time outdoors and being with family and friends when she’s not in the clinic.

Andrew is an alumnus of the Royal College of Surgeons and initially worked in Orthopaedics with the Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin. Here he worked extensively in the areas of knee and hip replacement.

In May 2013 Andrew began work as lead physiotherapist in professional cricket, including consultancy positions with the Caribbean Premier League and Cricket Ireland. He toured the West Indies, Dubai and Bangladesh with the Irish National team, enjoying the professional challenges of the T20 Cricket World Cup in April 2014.

Andrew has a sporting background in professional rugby, and a playing career interrupted by injury initially prompted his interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Megan recently graduated with a M.Sc. in Exercise Physiology and its application in therapy from NUIG. She also has a B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry from TU Dublin and a M.Sc. in Coaching Science in Sport from U.C.D. She is a certified Personal Trainer as well as an Exercise for health specialist.

She has been working in the fitness industry for just over 7 years. She has experience working with musculoskeletal clients as well as metabolic pathologies.

She is passionate about exercise and is currently a National and European champion powerlifter. She is committed to motivating and supporting clients in adopting and maintaining healthy lifestyles.

Mark recently graduated as a Chartered physiotherapist from the Royal College of Surgeons.

He also holds a B.Sc in Sport Science and Health from Dublin City University and an M.Sc in Sports Performance from the University of Limerick. With certifications as a strength and conditioning specialist and personal trainer, Mark brings a wealth of experience in coaching and guiding individuals of all ages, from children to older adults in personalised exercise programmes.

His extensive background includes over 6 years as a fitness instructor and personal trainer, working with athletes across various sports like tennis, soccer, and rugby. Mark has also led falls prevention and general fitness classes tailored for older adults in the North Inner City, including programs like Move for Health and the Otago Balance Programme.

Aisling holds an M.A. in Modern Irish and French from Trinity College Dublin. She subsequently qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from the University of Essex, Colchester, England. On returning to Ireland she has worked in both the private and public sector. Aisling is experienced in working with adults and children with communication delays and disorders such as; stuttering, specific speech and language delays and disorders, dysphonia (hoarse voice) and autism spectrum disorders. Aisling has delivered individual and group training sessions to teachers and professional voice users to enhance communication.

Aisling is a qualified Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) Clinician and delivers voice training to clients with a range of acquired communication disorders including Parkinson’s Disease. Aisling also provides training to teachers on voice care.

Jessie is a Chartered Physiotherapist (MISCP) with a special interest in Pelvic Health and Clinical Pilates. A certified Reformer and APPI Matwork instructor, she blends physiotherapy expertise with a love of movement-based rehab.

Graduating from Trinity College Dublin, she’s passionate about helping people build strength, boost endurance, and move with confidence. Her classes are clinically grounded, energetic, and supportive.
