Theresa is originally from Wicklow and became a qualified Physiotherapist in 2013. She spent nearly 5 years practicing in New Zealand and Australia, gaining valuable experience in musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative care, and chronic pain management. Returning to Ireland, she worked for 5 years in Galway in private practice treating a range of conditions. She is a certified Pilates and Yoga instructor and enjoys teaching all levels of ability.

Theresa strongly believes in the power of movement and exercise-based rehab as a preventive measure as well an an integral part of the rehab process to return you to what you love doing. To further her knowledge and skills in this area she recently completed a Master’s in Exercise Physiology in Rehabilitation. She is happy to be returning to the east coast and is looking forward to her new role with Personal Health. Outside work, she enjoys the outdoors and quality time with family and friends.

Andrew is an alumnus of the Royal College of Surgeons and initially worked in Orthopaedics with the Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin. Here he worked extensively in the areas of knee and hip replacement.

In May 2013 Andrew began work as lead physiotherapist in professional cricket, including consultancy positions with the Caribbean Premier League and Cricket Ireland. He toured the West Indies, Dubai and Bangladesh with the Irish National team, enjoying the professional challenges of the T20 Cricket World Cup in April 2014.

Andrew has a sporting background in professional rugby, and a playing career interrupted by injury initially prompted his interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Gary is an Honors Physiotherapy graduate from The Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin in 2013

Gary believes in the Personal Health core purpose … ‘that exercise prescription becomes a key part of medical treatment plans’. His life experience in high performance environments can be applied to a wide spectrum of medical patients and anybody who wants to optimise their fitness.

With a background in both Physiotherapy and Strength & Conditioning, Gary has been coaching adults of all ages and levels for 14 years. He is also certified through the International Youth Conditioning Association, and coaches adolescents athletic development and movement.

He spent 10 years as a professional rugby player for Leinster Rugby. During that time, he won a European Champions Cup and League Championship. He was also a member of the Ireland A team and the Ireland World Cup 7s team. Gary also holds All-Ireland sprint medals.

Megan recently graduated with a M.Sc. in Exercise Physiology and its application in therapy from NUIG. She also has a B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry from TU Dublin and a M.Sc. in Coaching Science in Sport from U.C.D. She is a certified Personal Trainer as well as an Exercise for health specialist.

She has been working in the fitness industry for just over 7 years. She has experience working with musculoskeletal clients as well as metabolic pathologies.

She is passionate about exercise and is currently a National and European champion powerlifter. She is committed to motivating and supporting clients in adopting and maintaining healthy lifestyles.

Tara is originally from Canada but has been living in Ireland the last 27 years. She studied MSc Nutrition & Dietetics in Scotland but returned Dublin to start her career in St James Hospital Dublin. She has more than 20 years experience as a Clinical Dietitian in both adults & paediatrics. She currently works in primary care and specialises in nutrition support across a range of conditions, with extensive experience in gut conditions, weight management, malnutrition, oncology, heart disease and bone health.

She is a busy mom of three and understands how good nutrition can be difficult to sustain. She endeavours to make good nutrition achievable for both individuals and families. Making personalised nutrition to ensure you reach your goals. She believes in making nutrition less complicated and debunks all the myths around food and nutrition. From Kilkenny, Laura’s Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nutrition from University College Cork, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Chester. Laura is a current member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic institute (I.N.D.I), the national organisation for dietitians in Ireland, and is registered with CORU, the national registration board for health and social care professions.

After completing her training in hospitals in Blackpool and Crewe in the UK, Laura commenced her career in Aintree University hospital in Liverpool, before returning to Ireland to work in St.James’s hospital. She is currently working as a community dietitian in the area of chronic disease.

Laura is skilled in a number of areas including heart health, weight management, oncology, stroke, nutrition in surgery, irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, malnutrition and underweight. She is dedicated to providing up to date and evidenced based nutritional advice, and helping you reach your nutritional goals.

Laura is a complete foodie who loves to cook nutritious meals, so a career in dietetics was a no brainer for her. She loves to exercise, where she is a keen runner and cyclist in her spare time.
